Irreversible Electroporation (IRE) Technology
Irreversible electroporation operates by applying high-voltage electric fields through a pulse generator that delivers microsecond-duration electric pulses. This induces transmembrane potential formation on cell membranes, locally overcoming the dielectric strength of phospholipid bilayers. The process creates hydrophilic nanopores (nanometer-scale pores) within the lipid bilayer, altering membrane permeability. When energy exceeds threshold levels, it causes permanent membrane permeabilization, disrupting intracellular homeostasis and triggering programmed cell apoptosis.

Indications
- 1This product is used in medical institutions for the ablation treatment of malignant solid liver tumors.
Applicable Population:
1) Age: Adult patients aged 18 to 80 years, regardless of gender;
2) Diagnosis: Malignant liver tumors confirmed by imaging or pathology;
3) Liver cancer patients with liver function classified as Child-Pugh Class A or B;
4) Single tumor with diameter ≤ 3.1 cm; maximum tumor diameter ≤ 3 cm with number of lesions ≤ 3; 5) Expected survival period > 6 months. - 2Applicable Sites:
Malignant tumors in the left lobe, right lobe and junction area of the liver.
Disease Severity and Stages:
Malignant liver tumors;
Patients with liver function classified as Child-Pugh Class A or B;
Uncontrollable severe comorbidities (e.g., refractory ascites, severe portal hypertension, etc.).
